Updated 19 Oct 2026 · Peptilex evidence grade B (A = approved, large trials · D = mainly animal studies)
The amylin-plus-semaglutide combination led to 20.4% average weight loss over 68 weeks in REDEFINE 1, and in the 2026 head-to-head trial REDEFINE 5 it reached 18.4% versus 11.9% on semaglutide alone. It was submitted to the FDA in December 2025; a decision is expected in late 2026.
